Christine is a Research Associate at Epigenes Australia. She completed her Master of Biomedical Science at the University of Melbourne in the Department of Biochemistry and Pharmacology, where her research project focused on cellular and molecular approaches to understanding neurodegenerative disorders. She has experience in iPSC culture and differentiation, molecular biology, biochemistry, and imaging-based techniques, and has applied these skills to studies of both neurodegenerative and now mental health conditions. At Epigenes Australia, Christine is part of the cellular neuroscience team, contributing to the validation of experimental models, protocol optimisation, and supporting research aimed at developing novel therapeutic strategies for mental health disorders. Christine has a strong interest in translating research into clinical applications and the commercialisation of emerging therapies, underpinned by a strong focus on the rigorous validation and reliability of experimental methods.
